Volunteer: Green Life Volunteer

We are looking for people who have an interest in sustainability and green practices to assist us at our Green Life Community Education forums.

Do you recycle? Do you pick up litter from your neighborhood? Are you frantically running from room to room shutting off lights to save money? Do you use reusable grocery bags at the store? Have you installed a digital thermostat? We want you to help us by sharing your commitment to green living.

Forums educate Flint residents and businesses about environmental concerns that affect them and empower them to make choices that will improve life for all residents. Forums take place in each Ward of the City. Past venues have included schools and the YWCA building.

Green Life generally lasts 1.5 hours.

This is a great way to share you passion and get to know your community.
