Volunteer: Administrative Assistant
Goal: To assist Partners 4 Recovery with note taking at meetings, community marketing at events and social media posting.
Skills, experience and qualification required:
• Reliable • Hard-working, courteous and respectful to all • Friendly and polite; able to project positivity and helpfulness • Comfortable working directly with people • Able to keep confidentiality • Able to communicate well • Able to learn new tasks • Able to work as a team; able to work cooperatively • Able to follow instructions and complete a task independently • Able to be empathetic to people seeking to make positive changes in their lives
Outline of activities, tasks and responsibilities: • Arrive for meetings at the scheduled time • Able to type well and create legible notes • Able to help share Facebook posts • Able to create email lists and send emails in appropriate manner • Able to use Microsoft Word well • Interact with others in a friendly, positive, non-judgmental and professional manner
Time Requirement • Attend Board Meetings 1x per month • Board Meetings last approx. 2 hours • Email members and volunteers 1 hour per month • Share Facebook posts 30 minutes per month
Accountability and Support • Able to interact with board members in supportive manner
