Volunteer: Core Construction VolunteerNo experience required; just bring a positive attitude! We currently have a group of volunteers we call "Core Construction Crew". These are volunteers that show up between 1 to 4 times a week and help us on all building projects. They also help us show new volunteers how to do things at the work site and join us for a strategic construction planning meeting twice a year. At these meetings we go over new projects, discuss how old projects went and talk about ways to improve. Our Core Construction crew plays a huge role in allowing us to do what we do!

Volunteer: Adopt-a-DayAdopt-A-Day is designed for corporate sponsors, community organizations and groups of all kinds to come together for a day of team building. The combination of volunteer hours and financial contributions doubles your group’s impact. Not only will your group build connections with each other but they will also be building connections in the community in a truly unique way. The satisfaction that comes from working with your hands, our partner families, and our construction staff will leave your group feeling motivated and fulfilled. What impact does Adopting a day have on Habitat for Humanity? When you adopt a day, your donation goes toward the supplies we need to renovate, build, and change lives. The hours that your volunteers put in at our site give us the (hu)man-power we need to complete each project. Please reach out to Ellen at volunteer@geneseehabitat.org if you are interested in signing up for our adopt-a-day program or to find out the sponsorship levels!
