Do you have a certified Pet Therapy dog? Make a difference is a hospice patient's life and spread the joy of your dog. You choose the time and days to go. It could be a much as 2-3x a week or as little as once a month, whatever fits best in your schedule. Your dog can bring so much joy to those who no longer are able to experience the love of a pet.

Don't think you have the time? There are 168 hours in a week, by giving just one or two you can bring a smile to a face and do what you love.

As a hospice volunteer you can truly change a patient's world by just stopping in to see how they are doing or what activities they did for the day. Many of our patients have no visitors and only interact with staff or other residents who may not have the time to sit and talk. Being a hospice volunteer helps one become more compassionate and empathic. Maybe you already have those qualities and want to use them where they are needed the most. Training to become a volunteer is done at the convenience of your time and location. Visiting the patients will be on your time. No schedules or shifts to follow. Flexibility will be at its finest when you come to volunteer with us.
