Volunteer: CHAAT Callers Needed!

Did you know that you don't have to BE alone to FEEL lonely?

Now, more than ever, our senior citizens are feeling isolated and disconnected from society.

Only one phone call a week will make a huge difference in the life of a lonely senior. Chatting Helps Aging Adults Thrive (CHAAT) is a phone-based companionship program aimed at seniors who are socially isolated and would benefit from a friendly call, helping both the giver AND the receiver.

CHAAT calls can be placed from the comfort of your own home! (After Orientation and background check)

If you are age 55+ and would like to be part of this special program, please call 810-249-0820 for more information!

Agency: AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP, sponsored by Valley Area Agency on Aging
