#SchoolHouseWash

We are a group of four teenage girls who attend Grand Blanc High School and are in the elective called Leadership, Exploration and Development or LEAD and for this class we must come up with a positive impact project and work on it all semester long. For our project we chose to create a wash lounge for inner city families within a K-8 school but open to anyone who may not have the means to buy the things required to wash their clothes, so we created this free opportunity for them.

We are simply creating a space that is family friendly for those within Flint, Michigan can use so that their children feel comfortable going to school because they have clean smelling and looking clothing and so that families are able to re-wear clothing that is clean and fresh because nobody is rich and can just go buy a new outfit right after they wear one.
