August 31st, 6:30-8:30 PM
Genesee County Prevention Coalition

International Overdose Awareness Day is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died, and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind. The opiate epidemic, as well as the disease of addiction, has been on the rise in the United States and our community, and the only way we can combat the isolation and stigma so often associated with addiction is if we're all in this together.

Join the Genesee County Prevention Coalition, for a FREE, family-friendly public gathering of education, remembrance, and hope. There will be a DJ, community resources, and Naloxone training. Reach out to Genesee County Opioid Abuse Prevention VISTA at LJohnson@theGCPC.org, with any questions.
