THE MEDICAL TEAM Hospice is looking for volunteers who want to dedicate some time to providing compassionate companionship to our hospice patients and their families. As a volunteer you may make visits at a private home or at a nursing facility. The role of a volunteer is to spend quality time with our patients engaging them in conversation and/or activities. A volunteer and patient may do activities together such as, play cards, read books, watch TV/movies, listen to music, go for walks, paint nails, play board games, create arts/crafts or participate in other leisure activities.
