The Flint Institute of Music (FIM) is putting on our first annual Hops and Pops Craft Beer Tasting. Hops & Pops will be a festive holiday event with a casual atmosphere, encouraging attendees to take some time out from the busy holiday season to connect with family and friends and relax. This new event will resonate with a younger demographic than our typical events, and is slated to become an annual effort. Funds raised through the event will go to support the many efforts of the Flint Institute of Music, including the Flint Symphony Orchestra, Flint School of Performing Arts and Flint Youth Theatre.
The night begins at 5pm with a VIP hour, followed by the main event from 6 – 10pm.
All volunteers will need to arrive no later then 5:15pm (VIP volunteers need to arrive by 4:15) and stay until 10:30 to help with clean up, if possible. Each volunteer will be given a brief training and assigned their positions.
We will need 2 people at each of the 20 vendor tables to pour 2 ounce samples to participants.
Additional volunteers will be needed for registration, coat check, runners and relief fill ins.
All volunteers will be given an hour to enjoy the event.
