The courtyards and community garden spaces at Holmes STEM Academy need repairs. This day specifically will focus on repairing the courtyard's picnic tables (with the help of a carpenter) and removing it's damaged flower beds. Our goal is that these spaces that are full of potential can be utilized as outdoor classrooms and as meeting spaces. The end product will feature STEM activities in the courtyard as well as an outdoor projector but before those are installed we need some help with the "heavy lifting" projects. This event will be outdoors, socially distanced and masks will be required.
Any adults who want to volunteer this day will need to fill out an iCHAT form by April 15th because you will be working with youth. The form is attached under "waiver."
