Freeman Elementary prides itself on being a Positive Behavior Intervention School (PBIS)! Students who exhibit positive behavior are rewarded for their good decisions through the use of Mustang Bucks. Mustang Bucks are distributed by teachers and staff at Freeman to students with positive behavior. Students are able to spend their Bucks at the Freeman Souvenir Shop every other Thursday on a variety of items.
This can be a daunting task for one or two people, as Freeman has so many students earning Mustang Bucks regularly, but with a small group of volunteers the shop can go quickly and smoothly! Souvenir Shop Helpers should be willing to enforce school rules and policies at all times while working with students and to lead by example.
The Souvenir Shop is in need of about three (3) helpers to collect and "sell" students items for their good behavior.
Completion of an ICHAT form from Flint Community School District is required before volunteering in any Flint school.
