Freeman Elementary School will be hosting a Global Youth Service Day event which will take place on Earth Day, 04/22/2022.
This event is a collaboration between Food Corps and AmeriCorps, and will have support from Habitat for Humanities to reach our goals. Students will be participating in this event with us and our volunteers who are interested in joining us! Our goals for this event are the following:
- Construction of a farming stand for our community garden
- Planting native Michigan pollinator flowers to beautify our campus
- Picking up litter around our school and community
