Description

The Mott Park Clean Up has been going on for over 20 years with the street clean up being the new addition to the tradition.

The Mott Park Clean up is a way for volunteers and neighbors to come together and clean up the trash along the park, to clean up the trash around the tennis court, to help with getting rid of weeds on the playground, to cut down some of the over growth around the stairs, amphitheater, tennis court, skate rink and tunnel.

The clean up helps to maintain the parks beauty while making it more appealing and safer for the neighbors and residents. In turn this would help residents and neighbors to continue use of the great park located in the middle of the neighborhood.

Joliet street has experience house fires in the past year and could use some tlc. Mott Park Neighborhood Association along with the Mott Park Blight Squad are addressing some of the residents but could use help with the street clean up
