Flint-Genesee County Continuum of Care is hosting the 20th annual Project Community Connect (formerly referred to as the ‘Homeless Lunch
and Learn’) on Thursday, June 20, 2019. The event will be held at Center for Hope, 812 Root Street, Flint, Michigan
48502 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Project Community Connect is an event that provides attendees with a meal and basic
need items, in addition to offering access to local resources and an opportunity to provide feedback on community services.
This event is an opportunity for the families and individuals in attendance to share with local service providers what issues
they face, what their needs are, and how services could be improved over lunch. In addition, the event provides service
providers with a better understanding of how to serve our guests on a regular basis.
