Join the Friends of the Shiawassee River and DeVries Nature Conservancy as we enjoy the Shiawassee River! This short paddle will launch from Harmon Patridge Park kayak/canoe launch site at 10 am and travel to the DeVries Nature Conservancy, where we will have a fabulous cookout.
For this volunteer opportunity, you will be stationed at DeVries and will help people carry kayaks or canoes from the dock to the parking lot. Dress for the possibility of getting in the water--you may get wet! Volunteers are invited to stay for the cookout.
