Description

In collaboration with United Way of Genesee County, The Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Foundation for Flint, Make an Impact Foundation and City of Flint, a playground is being built at Dewey Park. We are in need of 100 AMAZING volunteers to help complete the playground build. The final step, happening August 9th, is to evenly distribute mulch beneath the playground structure. This is a pertinent component to ensuring children's safety when playing. Please, spare your time on Wednesday, August 8, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., making the Dewey Park playground build a reality.

After the volunteer day we will be holding the ceremonial Ribbon Cutting Celebration, officially opening the park for children and community members. Please join us to celebrate at 4:00 p.m.
