Who We Are

Mission: To provide a place for musicians of all ages to connect through music and offers uplifting, educational, and entertaining programs, both for our members and our audiences.

The Fenton Community Orchestra was founded in August 2010 by three Fenton residents who wanted the opportunity to play in a multi-generational orchestra. Now in its fifteenth season, FCO has grown to more than 90 full orchestra members plus a 50-piece string orchestra (Simply Strings) performing to thousands of audience members every year. FCO is a regional orchestra with members from Fenton, Lake Fenton, Bancroft, Burton, Byron, Hartland, Linden, Holly, Flint, Davison, Swartz Creek, Davisburg, Grand Blanc, Durand, Howell, Clio, Vassar, Bancroft, St. John’s, Rochester Hills, Farmington Hills, Clarkston and other area communities. Since the beginning, more than 275 musicians have performed with the FCO ensembles.

What We Do

The Fenton Community Orchestra provides musicians and community members opportunities to engage in the arts through their musical involvement.  Along with Simply Strings, our novice adult string orchestra, the FCO organization performs over ten concerts annually in the greater Fenton area.
