Hurley Medical Center/Hurley Foundation

Who We Are

Each year, more than 20,000 people chose Hurley for their inpatient hospital care. As the largest medical center in Genesee County and the region’s only Level 1 trauma center Hurley’s emergency department handles over 80,000 annual emergency cases.

Hurley Medical Center is Flint’s only public safety-net hospital, which provides over 66% of the community’s uncompensated health care to citizens with little or no health insurance at a cost last year of $30 million.

What We Do

Hurley Medical Center was founded in 1908. Hurley is a 457 bed public, non-profit, teaching medical center located in Flint, Michigan.
