Mission: To inspire residents to reimagine the city, reclaim vacant and underutilized buildings and lots, and use innovative tools to steer Flint’s long-range planning.
Flint Public Art Project is a registered 501(c)(3) located in in Flint, MI and member of the Alliance of Artists Communities. The Flint Public Art Project cultivates a fertile ground for community involvement by integrating art into public spaces. Through vibrant installations and participatory events, it fosters dialogue, ignites creativity, and empowers residents, sowing the seeds for a more connected and resilient community.
What We Do
Flint Public Art Project organizes public events, workshops and temporary installations. The organization also runs an after-school, weekend, and summertime arts program bringing high-quality instruction and growth mindset curriculum in fine art to Flint children ages K-8.
