The Alzheimer’s Association - Greater Michigan Chapter, founded in 1981, serves 60 counties and more than 180,000 individuals living with Alzheimer's or another dementia and their families in Michigan. Headquartered in Southfield with regional offices in Flint, Grand Rapids, Marquette, Midland and Traverse City, the GMC is one of over 80 Alzheimer's Association chapters across the United States.
Our Mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's Disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
