Who We Are
A non-profit established for the preservation and operation of the Durand Union Station and the Michigan Railroad History Museum by engaging and educating the community through the celebration of railroading, it’s past, present, and future.
What We Do
We love visitors and really enjoy meeting them and educating them on railroad history in our town and in general. Maintaining a 100+ year old building keeps us busy, and we can always find work for volunteers. Lawn care and other outdoor work, office tasks, Christmas decorating on a big scale, gift shop work, giving tours, assisting with special events … these are just a few ways you can get involved.
