Wellness Services is hosting this volunteer-driven cultural event celebrating the lives of Flint's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT)residents. LGBT pride is a celebration of our residents that identify on the LGBT spectrum and allows us all to take a stand against discrimination and violence towards LGBT people and to promote self-affirmation, dignity, equal rights, and build community while we celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance.
Flint Pride is a community festival that features live music, entertainment, food, educational information, merchandise booths, children's activities, and plenty of fun & dancing! Come out and join us, you don't have to be LGBT to participate, allies are welcome to join in the fun too!
