#FlintKidsPlay is an initiative to restore the fun for children in parks across the City of Flint. For the summer of 2019 there will be two new playgrounds built. We are in need of 100 AMAZING volunteers to help complete each playground build.
We will be evenly distributing mulch beneath the playground structure that is set to be built a few days before. This is a pertinent component to ensuring children's safety when playing.
Please, spare your time on Saturday, July 27th, from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., making the Bassett Park playground build a reality.
After the volunteer day we will be holding a Community Celebration, officially opening the park for children and community members. Please join us to celebrate at 12:30 p.m.
