Short term emergency shelter project
Center of Hope in Fenton is renovating 3 large homes to establish much needed emergency shelter for women and children fleeing abuse. Many of our volunteer construction team are snow birds and will be leaving Michigan for the Winter. We are looking for people with some building or handyman skills able to help keep the project moving forward. Basic skills in home improvement, construction, demolition, painting and flooring along with a heart to help those in need are greatly needed.
