Who We Are

A community non profit organization that primarily assists residents experiencing crisis situations in the Fenton, Linden, Holly and Grand Blanc communities. We strive to ensure that the services we provide are not only a temporary band aid for their problem, but also a more permanent improvement to their personal life skills. By addressing underlying needs that are present we look to provide a pathway for getting families out of the cycles of assistance that hold individuals back from success in life. A key differentiating factor to the assistance that we provide to those in need would be the relationship building with mentors and providing a variety of life skills classes. The classes that we provide include areas like parenting, budgeting, nutrition, cooking classes, resume writing and many other classes as needs arise. We strongly feel that by addressing these key skill areas that we can help people that are currently in a crisis mode feel a true sense of accomplishment and purpose for their life.

What We Do

The Fenton Center of Hope has been established to help the less fortunate in our community through crisis situations. We strive to assist the people we serve not only with their immediate needs in areas of food, household goods and baby supplies but also with their underlying root cause of their situation. In building relationships with those we serve, we look to use our skills and abilities to pass on life skill training in a variety of areas. Examples of life skills training would be classes in: Cooking, Nutrition, Parenting, Budgeting, Resume writing, Computer skills, Gardening, etc. Services we provide: Food Pantry, Baby Closet, Diaper Bank, Pregnancy Resource Center, Household goods, Emergency assistance programs & Foster/Adoption assistance through Clara’s Hope. The Fenton Center of Hope is in operation to restore hope and purpose to those in crisis situations and provide the immediate resources needed along with longer term assistance with contacts and referrals to other agencies or organizations as needed
