As a JA (Junior Achievement) in a Day volunteer you will be teaching financial literacy and entrepreneurship curriculum to a K-5 classroom at Rankin Elementary School. Junior Achievement provides you with all of the engaging materials needed and you bring the excitement! During your time in the classroom you will teach each pre-planned lesson and help students gain elementary level understanding of saving/spending/earning money, starting their own business, and interacting in the economy. Doesn't that sound like so much fun?! That's because it truly is. Students love having a volunteer visitor in the classroom and the curriculum includes games, activities, and fun materials (some grade levels get stickers, bracelets, and magnets...woohoo!).
