What is GivingTuesday? 

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (November 30), GivingTuesday inspires community members to give back to the causes and issues that matter to them. Fueled by social media, this massive wave of giving and collaboration demonstrates how much power we have to create change. United together under the hashtag, #raiseUPshiawassee, the Shiawassee County collaborative effort has worked hard to connect nonprofits with those who Give Back to Shiawassee. More community connections were sparked through service and/or giving, which not only reinvigorated connections between ourselves as nonprofits working collaboratively, but also strengthened connections within our community.

This year’s goal is to continue the collaboration by inspiring local business owners and their employees to give where they work and live! Be a part of the #raiseUPshiawassee movement by giving back to the causes and issues that matter to you!
