We are seeking 100 volunteers to work on any one of three service projects we will be offering on our Flint campus on MLK Day: Monday, January 19th.
The service projects will be offered in the Baker College Student Center which is located in the main building (Undergraduate studies building) between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult!
1. Make no-sew blankets for Project Linus (skills: cutting & tying & following a pattern)
2. Making para-cord bracelets for Operation Gratitude to send to our servicemen overseas (skills: following a pattern, braiding/weaving para-cord)
3. Making sleeping mats out of plastic shopping bags (skills: single crochet, cutting & tying)
