The Morris Peterson Jr. Foundation Back-to-School Backpack program is done in collaboration with St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, World Artist Refuge, and United Way of Genesee County. In addition to school supplies, families will enjoy food, a bounce house, live music, free hair cuts, face painting and community organizations sharing literature and resources.
Volunteers for the event will help with set up (tents, tables, chairs, etc.) before the event and tear down following the event which takes place from 11am to 2pm.
During the event volunteers will help with the registration table, food tables, bounce houses, and distributing back packs.
