An event designed to build relationships between the police and the Flint community. Touch-A-Truck is a partnership between the University of Michigan - Flint, City of Flint Police Department, Michigan State Police, Burton Police, Grand Blanc Twp Police, Grand Blanc City Police, Flint Twp Police and many other area agencies.
Last year for the 8th annual event, well over 2,000 people attended and it continues to grow. In fact, the University of Michigan Medical Helicopter is joining it this year. With face painting, bounce houses, hotdogs and much more this event helps build positive police and community relations (and with recent headlines that's more important today than ever...), but it is also a great free family event.
Won't you please join us by volunteering? We will have a free t-shirt that you will need to wear and you are able to park at the event. See the map below.
