The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren has established a legacy of giving in southeastern Michigan. Since its inception in 2018, The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren has donated a total of more than $4.5 million in support of local charities in the greater Flint area and beyond.
The 2022 tournament raised $1,758,196 for charitable organizations in southeastern Michigan and beyond. Additionally, the total includes $440,000 for the tournament’s 2022 primary beneficiary, United Way of Genesee County (UWGC).
The tournament’s investment supported 17 programs in Genesee County, impacting three priority areas: Youth Financial Literacy, Housing Stability, and Work Force Development. In our role as primary beneficiary of the Ally Challenge, we help support the tournament with volunteers. We need YOU to join us at the challenge as a volunteer. We are looking for volunteers to help provide support during and leading up to the Miranda Lambert concert. You
Concert Volunteers:
- Must be 18 years old
- Event outside
- First 1 1/2 hour will be training on using scan system/learning logistics
- Scan tickets to provide front of stage bands for access
- Manage tents providing wrist bands for Miranda Lambert Concert
- Will receive 1 patron access to the entire tournament (Fri – Sun)
- Will receive a parking pass valid only for the day you serve
- Dress: Live United shirt and shorts/pants (We will provide the shirt)
- Tents are on various parts of the course, volunteers will need to be able to walk the golf course
